Feature · AI assistant (MCP)
Let your AI assistant find the missing receipts.
Pairoli talks to Claude over MCP. Ask for the missing invoices and your assistant searches your mail and your suppliers’ portals, in your own browser. Whatever it finds lands straight in Pairoli.
How it works
-
Connect Pairoli to Claude
Add Pairoli as a connector in Claude and sign in once. The connection is secured with OAuth and only works for your team.
-
Ask for your receipts
Claude fetches your open statements and missing lines from Pairoli, and first checks whether the invoice is already sitting unmatched in Pairoli. If so, it matches it right away.
-
Search and fetch
Whatever is still missing, Claude searches for in your mail and with your suppliers, in your own browser. Found PDFs go to Pairoli through a secure upload link, matched to the right line straight away.
What you can do with it
- Pairoli never sees your passwords
- Fetching happens in your browser, with your existing logins. Pairoli stores no supplier credentials and never runs anything itself.
- Recipes per supplier
- For services without an invoice API, such as Google Workspace, Pairoli describes step by step where the invoices live. You can add your own suppliers too.
- Only what’s new
- Per supplier Pairoli knows the newest stored invoice. Your assistant only fetches what came after, so no duplicates.
- You stay in charge
- Your assistant only reports doubtful cases, it never accepts them itself. It only closes a line without an invoice once you confirm no invoice exists.
- Report per line
- Afterwards you see per line what was found, where, and what was done. Every match by your assistant is recorded in the invoice history.
Questions about this feature
Which AI assistants work with it?
The connection is built and tested with Claude. Because it’s a standard MCP server, other assistants with MCP support can connect too.
Is Anthropic a Pairoli sub-processor then?
No. You use Claude yourself, with your own account. Pairoli only provides instructions and receives the invoices. We still list it on our privacy page for completeness.
What if a supplier asks for a login code?
Then your assistant stops at that supplier and reports that signing in is needed. It never enters passwords or codes.
Works well with
-
Forwarding address
Your own email address to send invoices to. Attachment, link or the email itself.
-
Rules per merchant
Tell Pairoli once that a merchant needs no invoice. It remembers.
-
Splits and refunds
Several invoices for one line, and refunds that cancel themselves out.
